Health Tip 1 - Amla and Ginger Syrup

AMLA AND GINGER SYRUP

Useful for sore throats and common cold and cough. Also helpful for acidity and indigestion.





Ingredients: 1 kg Amla (chopped pieces), Rs. 10 worth (about 100 gm) Ginger
(crushed), 30 leaves of chopped Pudina, 10 glasses of water.


Add all the three ingredients in 10 glasses of water and
boil till the water level reaches about 5 glasses. Squeeze and filter the syrup
formed and store in a bottle. It should preferably be kept in a refrigerator.


Use: Take 5ml syrup and 5 ml warm water.


For children, use 5 ml honey with 5ml of syrup and water.





You can also add sugar syrup to the mixture and dilute with
water to make sherbet during summer.
